WHAT WE BELIEVE
Salvation is the free gift of God's grace through Jesus Christ. These are the steps the Scriptures lay out for coming home to Him.
Acknowledge your condition.
“For all have sinned (transgressed or broken God’s laws) and come short of His glory.” ROMANS 3:23
Repent.
Be sorry; turn away from sin. God will erase your sins if you repent.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” ACTS 3:19
Confess your sins.
Say, “I have sinned.”
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 JOHN 1:9
Forsake your sin and old ways.
“Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord…for He will abundantly pardon.” ISAIAH 55:7
Believe in Jesus and what He has done.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” JOHN 3:16
Receive and accept Him and His Word.
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” JOHN 1:11–12
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ROMANS 10:13
